Dr. Randolph Brooks
Dr. Brooks is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and has written dozens of articles on clinical and patient care topics. He is a consultant in the ophthalmic pharmaceutical field, as well as to the contact lens industry. He has served as a visiting scholar and visiting professor at several colleges of optometry and has spoken at dozens of optometric meetings across the United States as well as internationally.
Dr. Brooks was the first New Jersey optometrist ever elected to the Board of Trustees of the American Optometric Association and in 2009-2010, Dr. Brooks was elected as President of the American Optometric Association, representing the entire profession nationally.
In 2013, Dr. Brooks received the honor as the only privately practicing optometrist in the United States to be appointed to the National Commision on Vision and Health, an organization whose mission is to improve the nations' visual health by helping assure access to vision care as an integrated part of public health programs at the national, state and local levels.
Dr. Brooks is married and has three sons. He is also a proud grandfather to four adorable little girls. His interests include fishing, biking, photography and travel. His well deserved retirement will begin in 2018.

Dr. Danielle Gaeta
Dr. Gaeta is a New Jersey native and a graduate of The College of New Jersey where she received a Chubb Scholarship and was a Dean's List Student. She attended Southern College of Optometry earning her degree of Doctorate of Optometry. She is an Optometric Physician licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Optometrists in the treatment and management of ocular diseases. Her training included internships in Pediatrics and Vision Therapy, as well as Ocular Disease and Low Vision at the VA hospital in Memphis, TN.
Dr. Gaeta is an active member of the American Optometric Association, as well as the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians. She also volunteers for Opening Eyes, a program which provides full eye exams for special needs participants of the New Jersey Special Olympics. Her community service work also includes performing vision exams for homeless adults and children, as well as fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Dr. Gaeta has special interests in pediatric eye care and treating patients with the newest contact lens technologies.
Dr. Gaeta was named "Young Optometrist of the Year" for 2017 by the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians
Dr. Gaeta is married and has a rescue dog, Jemma. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, hiking and snowboarding.

Dr. Susan Gardner
Dr.Gardner is a summa cum laude graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. For 11 years, Dr. Gardner served as director at the VA Eye Clinic where she was also Director of the Optometric Residency Program.
Dr. Gardner practiced with Dr. Brooks from 1988 to 1993. After raising her family, she was thrilled to rejoin Dr. Brooks at Advanced Eyecare Associates in 2009 where she continues to care for her patients.

Dr. Heema Desai-Patel
Dr. Desai-Patel is originally from the Philadelphia area and graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She went on to receive a Doctor of Optometry degree at the State University of New York College of Optometry where she remained active throughout school as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and served as the President of the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society.
